Pics from Arifjan. Most are of the new uparmored humvees. Air conditioning- Since it's pointless to have armored windows stay open, you need it. On the way back, it kept the interior down to 115. Back wall- It's armored, but a sliding door lets you reach into the trunk. The A/C unit is on the right. BII- Basic Issue Items. The equipment that comes with a vehicle. It's all new. Body work- Someone modified their humvee. Clean engine- I've never seen one like it! Clean suspension- Wow. Commo- Headset jacks for an intercom. It gets really loud in these things. Conexes- Lots of supplies staged here. Door- The interior has padding (probably anti-spall). Note the sprung bar at the top of the window to lock it in position and the door locks at the rear top and bottom. Driver's side- In the driver's door. Gate- I guess it's supposed to lend a little class to the joint. Gun shield- Armor's useless if the gunner isn't protected. Interior- The gunner's platform (adjustable height). Intercom headsets are in the plastic bags in the back. It's ours- Good to see. Odometer- Even better to see. Paint line- They're still making them green, apparently. The door masked some of the frame. Rear footwell- Anyone over 5 feet need not apply. Repairs- They were fixing tracks there. Right side- Plugger and MTS already installed. Tent city- There are buildings, but apparently not for living. Truck yard- Lots of trucks. Turret inspection- Emond and Dubia checking out the new truck. Turret- There's a lot more weight up top than on regular trucks, so the turret lock is heavier duty.
