More pics: ASO kids- they're great kids. Chai- they alwys want us to have chai. Deschenes lift- they wanted him to pick them up. Deschenes humvee- Units tend to stencil a logo on their vehicles. It's a quicker way to tell which unit is there than going over and reading the bumper number. Doug made this, the capt and 1sg loved it, it got painted on, the sergeant major hated it, it got painted over. They had put it on a lot of the trucks by the time word came down to remove it. Freighter- Looks like it's grounded, doesn't it? Fuel truck- Who needs IEDs? Hazen Deschenes- Nighttime at Burma. Hazen- With one of the kids. Huang Deschenes- We were driving side by side. Kids- That's them. McCarthy chai- With the kids. McCarthy- Leaving one of the positions at Burma. Mocking- No pictures, eh? Photography- This sign is at Burma. Train- The train was stopped just south of the Umm Qasr train station. The Jersey barrier that you can just barely see is the IP (Iraqi Police) checkpoint there. We were going through it. Umm Qasr- I'd imagine this is Arabic for "welcome to Umm Qasr." Or "this sign was built during the reign of Saddam Hussein."
